Between things ended and things begun

Home from the visit to Maine and ticking things off the completion list. Ma's mittens are *ahem* in her hands now for finishing.
I'm dangerously close to finishing the Flower Basket but I chickened out at the yarn store when it came time to buy a blocking set. There were all sorts of reasons there - it was $26 for a neon pink yard stick, a dozen blocking pins and some wires; there was only the plastic wrapper to store them in and that means I'll bend or lose them; I'm a wuss.
I did buy some wool wash/ conditioner that's anti-moth and easy rinse. And I added to the stash.

I've also realized that my little sock yarn stash is looking pretty overflowing right now.

I might be going through an orange and pink thing right now. The two little pink balls are Koigu KPM, The center-pull skein is Lorna's Laces and the rest are ordered from little hand-dyers on etsy.com - mostly from the seller fearlessfibers.
